This handsome wedding band, from Chris Ploof, features a brilliant diamond set into a 7 mm wide band forged from Damascus Steel. The ring has a smooth interior for a very comfortable fit. Damascus Steel is an incredibly strong and temperature resistant material named after the capitol where ancient Syrian warriors developed a highly innovative technique for forging armor and weapons. The steel is layered and fused resulting in a beautiful yet masculine pattern that is unique to each ring style. This technique of steel working is commonly used today in professional grade chef's knives however Ploof's employment of this skillset in his jewelry line is unparalleled. Each ring in Chris' collection is handmade in his Leominster, MA workshop.
