Q: Who are your favorite designers?

A:Sarah Mcguire! I love her use of mixed metals and unique diamond detailing. Her minimalist approach is what I tend to look for in most jewelry.

Q: What is your favorite gem stone?

Q: What is your most sentimental piece of jewelry and why?

A: Every time my grandmother visits from Jamaica, she brings me a piece of jewelry. For her last visit, she gave me a gold and diamond ring that I haven't taken off since. I also have a vintage gold Christian Dior necklace I found at a second hand store for $13. I had no clue until inspecting it closer after purchase. It is probably one of the oldest pieces I own.

Q: Favorite trip?

A: My all girls trip to St. Lucia with Carla Caruso and Lori McLean was amazing. Lori and I went scuba diving at the base of the Pitons! Although I think we freaked out all the honeymooning couples.

Q: Favorite movie?

A: I loved Philomeana. I just cried and cried. Although I was on an airplane, which apparently makes the crying worse due to lack of oxygen.

Q: What piece of jewelry could you never live without?

A: It's a tie between my gorgeous Lori Mclean engagement ring and my 15 gold bangles made my Marian Maurer.

Q: Music you like?

A: My taste in music runs the full gamut - I like almost everything with a few notable exceptions. Current favorites include Dr. Dog and Avi Buffalo.

Q: Who are your favorite designers?

A: I'm really into Jamie Joseph's work. The stones she uses are really incredible. Also Lisa Jenks and Terri Logan. I like their bold and modern sense of designs.

Q: What is your favorite stone?

A: I'm really into boulder opals and Mexican opals. Also lapis lazuli and some more unusual stones like picasso jasper and pietersite.

Q: What is your most sentimental piece of jewelry and why?

A: There are two pieces of jewelry that hold a lot of sentiment for me. One is a gold medallion pendant with my initials, however the necklace was not made with me in mind, but for my paternal grandmother who I am named directly after. The other is a very traditional marcasite and onyx ring that my maternal grandmother wore for as long as I can remember.
