This stunning engagement ring, from Caroline Ellen, features a Moghul cut grey diamond bezel set in 20K gold. The simple setting is matte finished and was designed to fit flush against most wedding band styles. Today's Moghul cut diamonds are a throw-back to 16th century India where diamonds were mined and cut by hand creating interesting shapes from raw diamonds. The infamous Koh-i-Noor diamond, held in the Tower of London, is the largest known Moghul cut diamond. Caroline Ellen's gorgeous bridal collection is made by hand in her Manhattan studio using ethically sourced materials. Her unique gold alloy is also created from scratch in her studio and results in a rich color similar to pure gold.
