This beautifully detailed pendant from Marian Maurer has the symbol associated with Leo, the Lion, rendered in an intricate relief carving. Leo has since ancient times been likened to the mane, or even the tail, of a lion. However, it is also thought to represent the two valves of the heart, the area of the body which Leo rules. The pendant is made in 18k gold, approx. .5" diameter, on a 16" cable chain. (P552) Handcrafted in Brooklyn.
