This beautifully detailed pendant from Marian Maurer has the symbol associated with Taurus, the Bull, rendered in an intricate relief carving. The Egyptian god Hourus was the bull of heaven, and a white bull was sacrificed in Babylonia at the New Year to placate Ramman, the god of thunder and lightning. The pendant is made in 18k gold, approx. .5" diameter, on a 16" cable chain. (P560) Handcrafted in Brooklyn.
