This beautifully detailed pendant from Marian Maurer has the symbol associated with Sagittarius, the Archer, rendered in an intricate relief carving. The Sagittarius constellation has the rough appearance of an archer drawing its bow, and including the fainter stars, appears to have a horse-like body. The Greek love for the horse led to the ennoblement of the centaur in myth and legend. The pendant is made in 18k gold, approx. .5"diameter, on a 16"cable chain. (P561) Handcrafted in Brooklyn.

Maurer uses recycled gold in all of her hand crafted pieces and take care to source precious stones thoughtfully and uses only conflict-free diamonds.
